The flight here went smooth. On the train to Koln I met a woman. Her husband is a priest. She spoke English very well. There were only a few things that she could not explain. For lunch i had doner with Mezzo Mix. It was fabulous. We visited the Dom it was amazing that so much detail could be put in a building, Everything is going well. Thanks for your prayers.

Today was really long! But way fun! We haven't had any sleep since yesterday morning. Today we learned to use the trains. We got to see parts of the city. God is really showing me how to be understanding of people.

As we toured and traveled around Cologne I have learned that it is truly a beautiful city. But also during this time God laid it on my heart how many people God has given us a chance to minister to. I can't wait to see what God had in store for tomorrow. :) And please keep us all in your prayers.

A 9 hour plane ride that doesn't go exactly as you plan and a total time of waiting in airports and train stations of more than 8 hrs. is never fun. But the minute the train pulled away from Frankfurt to Cologne and the beautiful countryside came into view, all my frustrations melted away. This truly has been one of the most incredible days of my life, just walking around this city. Not only have I seen amazing places and experienced new things, but I caught glimpses of God and his love for these people. My heart overflows with compassion for them and I am so excited to see what is going to happen this week!
